Journeyman Toolmaker/
General Manager
Ran‑Bro Tool Company is a family‑owned tooling and mold‑building shop known for precision, craftsmanship, and tackling complex projects. We’re looking for an experienced Journeyman Toolmaker who’s ready to stay hands‑on while also performing as our General Manager. Role Overview You’ll lead high‑level tool and mold work while gradually taking on operational and strategic responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to help build, strengthen, and expand a growing company. Journeyman Toolmaker
We’re seeking a skilled, hands‑on Tool Maker to support the build, repair, and maintenance of injection molds and die cast tooling. If you take pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoy solving complex tooling challenges, you’ll thrive in this role and contribute to high‑quality, impactful manufacturing work. Role Overview You’ll work directly on mold builds, repairs, troubleshooting, and machining. Key Responsibilities Build and repair injection molds and die cast tools Diagnose tooling issues and support production uptime Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T Operate manual and CNC equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM) Partner with engineering and production to solve problems Who We’re Looking For 5+ years of injection mold and/or die cast tooling experience Strong machining skills and blueprint/GD&T proficiency Hands‑on problem solver with excellent attention to detail Mastercam experience is a plus
